This Privacy Policy explains how storagehuntersopenworld.org (“we”, “us”, the “site”) treats information about the people who visit our pages. We are an independent fan wiki for the Roblox game Storage Hunters: Open World, and we try to keep this site as low-friction and privacy-respecting as we reasonably can while still paying for hosting through advertising.
Information We Collect
We do not run our own user accounts, comments system, or newsletter, and we do not ask visitors to submit any personal information directly to us. The site is a static, read-only wiki: you browse pages, and that is the full scope of the interaction.
When any browser requests a page on the public internet, the request itself necessarily includes information such as your IP address, the User-Agent string of your browser, the referring URL (if any), and a timestamp. These are network-protocol-level details, not data we ask you to provide. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) processes those request headers as part of serving the site and may retain short-lived access logs for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and roughly where readers come from, and Google AdSense to display advertisements that fund the site's ongoing maintenance. Both services are operated by Google and will set cookies in your browser. Those cookies may be used by Google to measure ad performance and to show you more relevant ads across the wider web, in accordance with Google's own privacy practices.
You can review how Google handles data collected through its services at policies.google.com/privacy. You can disable cookies or third-party cookies in your browser settings at any time; doing so will not break the wiki, though it may stop personalised advertising from working as Google intends.
Third-Party Links
Many of our wiki pages cite external sources — community wikis, video walkthroughs, gaming-news outlets, Reddit threads, and the official Roblox storefront. Following one of those links takes you to a site we do not operate and whose privacy practices we cannot control. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site before submitting information to it.
Children's Privacy
This wiki is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. If you believe that a child has nonetheless provided us with personal information — for example through a contact email — please get in touch using the address below and we will delete the record.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add a new analytics tool or change advertising providers. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change has been published indicates that you accept the revised policy.
